Estée Lauder Make Up - Lips Review: Make Up

NEW! Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick: A well-improved lipstick in so many ways

I’m pretty excited about this one. The month of April would be busy and exciting for Estée Lauder Malaysia as there will be three new makeup and skin care product launches altogether. Initially I thought of telling you about everything in one post but you know me, my review is super duper long. Considering the fact that I have a total of 10 photos per product, I can already foresee the length this review is going to be. I wouldn’t want you to fell asleep so I figure I could tell you about the NEW Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick first.

Introducing Estée Lauder’s new and latest lipstick collection – Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick, the ultimate object of desire. What’s so great about this? Well besides illuminate and sculpt, Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick also hydrate and style the lips. I bet you heard a lot about lipstick hydrating the lips but failed. I can tell you now…not this one. Nope.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine 1
Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick comes in 16 flattering shades of color. Rather than the conventional slanted and pointy lipstick bullet that you can see from it’s sister range – Pure Color Envy, Pure Color Envy Shine comes in a more flatter top. It is designed this way to give the lips a more sculpted pout, adds dimension for a fuller lips and the ability to distribute the lips with even and luminous color effortlessly. I found out that this new lipstick range is Asia exclusive. In fact all the lip-sculpting statement shades were exclusively developed to complement the natural beauty of Asian women. Don’t we all feel more special now eh? 😀

Estée Lauder Review: Skin Care Skin Care - Whitening

Bringing my daily skin care regimen to a whole new level with Estée Lauder CyberWhite HD Advanced Spot Correcting Essence and 2014 Newest Addition, Advanced Brightening Moisture Creme

I have not mention before that my low self esteem when it comes to my face is acne marks. I was born and raised in a conservative environment and taking care of the skin is definitely out of the picture. My mum never use any skin care before all her life. The only makeup she own and applied before on her face is on her wedding day. It’s a good thing that both my parents are born with good skin. Growing up I don’t have any skin problem, that was until secondary school. I’ve read and I was told about puberty and how the skin changes but never in my life I would foresee breakout happening to me. All I remember was my breakout wasn’t cystic acne type. Thinking back to the old days, I was thankful that I was only strike with normal acne breakout. Even so no one ever told me not to squeeze those acne, no one told me not to touch my face with my fingers and no one told me to try this product or that product to minimise acne. My brother inherited all the fair, smooth and good skin from my mum while I inherited a more rough skin appearance from my dad. So my brother still look good during his puberty time and I look like a total smush. I then discovered the wonder of 2-way foundation and secretly apply it onto my face for the last 2-years of secondary school. The foundation covered all the acne marks and I wasn’t feeling that low self esteem as I did before.

Although my complexion can be considered as fair, however I never say no to whitening or brightening products to lighten acne marks that still follows me to date. Lately I’ve been quite athletic in the “whitening Olympic” season, trying out different whitening products then I ask myself…what’s next? Time to go HD 🙂

Estee Lauder CyberWhite HD 1
Back in 2012 I bought myself a few CyberWhite products to use. Then in 2013 Estée Lauder launched CyberWhite HD range. This range was inspired after Estée Lauder Research, a brand that has over 25 years of expertise in brightening found that exposure to pollution, in addition to UV, can trigger a response that leads to an excess production of melanin.

All-NEW Asia Exclusive Estée Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion – First Impression, User Experience and Final Thoughts

I bet you have already know, read or even tried the all-new Estée Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion by now 🙂 . It is not a secret that Estée Lauder will be launching a brand new revolutionary product following a few series of teaser on their official Facebook page since the beginning of 2014. I too leaked a picture on my Instagram too, oppss! 😀 . I’ve been using Estée Lauder Micro Essence for a good full month now, plus the product was officially launched on the 15th January 2014 and stocks are already stock up at all Estée Lauder counters nationwide. It is only fair that you read on and digest it throughout the weekend before dashing out of the house to the nearest counter. Trust me, it’s going to be a good one. *Hint: I have a Before and After comparison picture*

Estee Lauder Micro Essence 1
Before I start, you might want to note that this is Asia exclusive only product. The idea, development, testing and proven result of this Micro Essence are all based on Asian women’s skin care needs. Plus we Asian just love a brighter and fairer skin don’t we 🙂

A lot of people are confuse with Estée Lauder Micro Essence. Honestly I was too at the beginning. Is it a toner? Is it a pre-serum? Softener? Or Essence? Let’s make things simple for you. Micro Essence is a treatment lotion aka essence-in-lotion. In Asia, lotion is also another word for toner. According to Estée Lauder, Micro Essence is the first-of-its-kind “essence-in-lotion” that strengthens skin’s foundation with micro power to reveal a translucent, “angelic glow” from within. Micro-Nutrient Bio-Ferment is then invented which was inspired by the strength and resilience of extremophiles, nature’s “Ultimate Survivors” that works by activating the skin’s multiple pro-youth functions and help to reset skin’s look. I often talk about the importance of skin’s ability to reset all cell counters to ZERO in order to boost the youthfulness process in epidermis. Micro Essence work in a similar way too. Prolonged use of Estée Lauder Micro Essence will help to strengthen skin barrier making it more resistant toward all signs of aging.

I’m no makeup expert, this is a tips that I picked up personally from a makeup guru which I think is worth to be share to you guys as I had the privilege to meet and had my makeup done by Adrian not once but twice. And during numerous encounter with Adrian I managed to get some pointers, tips and tricks from him.

Ready?

I’m not going to talk about prep-ing your face with skin care or base makeup. I assume you guys are expert now. I’m just going to jump directly to the main topic which is using pencil eyeliner as eye makeup base.

Clarins Clinique Crabtree & Evelyn Estée Lauder Gifts from Friends Giveaway L'Occitane

Wonderful Saturday with Meeting Friend, Beauty Shopping + Gifts & Giveaway

I had a wonderful and relaxing Saturday not rushing to blog or take product pictures but meeting up with a friend; Kamsiah who if you still remember sponsored all the wonderful Clarins giveaway in Street Love, we did some beauty roundings and shopping at Pavilion.

As Kamsiah is attending Clarins Beauty Gathering at 11am, I met up with her 10+ish before that and I followed her to the gathering so that we have time to chit chat before her hubby picked her up at 1pm. I have no intention at all to go for the Clarins event so I didn’t queue for the door gift or whatsoever just in case someone is wondering 🙂

I came home with these! Actually there’s a full size Clinique Chubby Stick but I forgotten to include in the picture.

Kamsiah gave me loads of gifts and she really know me well. Everything she gave me is exactly what I like. Exactly. Every single one of it.

If you have been reading my lil bloggie you’d know that I love rose scented stuff. I’ve been eyeing on Crabtree & Evelyn Evelyn Rose Solid Perfume since last month when I finally take a look at KLCC outlet. I didn’t get it as Christmas is near so I thought maybe there’s Christmas set for it lol. Love this so so much! It came with a cute pouch too!! Thank you Kamsiah *hugs*

Make Up Tips – Mistake Proof Two Tone Eyeshadow

A different tips post today. In today’s tips sharing I wanted to share with you a secret of mine when it comes to applying eyeshadow. Before I start…DISCLAIMER time. Please take note this is just an old method that I’ve been using for my own self which I think is useful to be share out. It may or may not be your liking so don’t judge me 😛

Back to topic. Have you ever wonder how to do that perfect extended eyeshadow? Now you don’t have to wonder anymore. Below is a step by step pictorial and guide on how I normally do my two tone extended eyeshadow. It’s a lil trick that I picked up some time ago and has been practicing it since then. This mistake proof secret is the reason that I’m willing to do my eyeshadow every morning 🙂

It’s also a good time to review this Estée Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow palette GWP that was given to me during one of my purchases a few months ago. I’m going to use only 3 colors from the palette as numbered below.

First thing first, apply your usual eyeshadow primer all over your eyelid. In my case I’m using Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion #Original (UDPP). I normally apply slightly more on the crease cause even with UDPP, eyeshadow still smudge on me.
