Body - Body Oil Linden Leaves Review: Bath / Body

Review: Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy Memories Body Oil

You asked for more varieties in terms of brand and product. I hear you! This time I’m gonna talk about one product that intrigue me the most. I’m a sucker when it comes to pretty packaging 😀

If you recall…last Sunday I introduced theSkintopic including all three brands under their umbrella. If you haven’t glance at the brand introduction post yet, you might wanna check it out here.

Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy Memories Body Oil is what I’m attracted to like a magnet at the moment. We’ve heard of shower oil but hardly heard of body oil nor can we find any; if I recall correctly. This is an organic rosehip and avocado oils blended with pure sweet almond and apricot kernel oils, enriched with vitamin E and infused with a luxurious blend of rose, geranium and ylang ylang, to keep skin soft and nourished.

Still confuse what this is for? Okay. In short this is something to apply after shower in replace of body lotion or cream. But why would you wanna replace your body lotion or cream? Read on!

Body - Fragrance Lanvin Review: Bath / Body

Review: Jeanne LANVIN Couture EDP – Perfume for the Summer of 2012

Well, not so new :). I was late in this review after attending the fragrance launch somewhere in August. Sorry! But I have a reason for the delay.

It is a fact that perfume review is very subjective. Everyone is different. It’s either you love it or hate it. On the launch day itself I had migrain since morning. You might have guessed that on that day I was very sensitive to almost everything. Food I like smelt horrible to me, laptop screen too bright although I adjusted it to the lowest brightness and of course perfume is too strong and makes me giddy. That was exactly what happen with this lovely Jeanne LANVIN Couture perfume. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not bad until I was giddy. It’s the migrain!

When I reached Spanish Steps Pavilion KL (where the launch is) I was already excited. Add that excitement to migrain and you’d get a giddy me. When I was given a bow band to take a sniff and when the new fragrance was spritz to the air…it was fresh and sweet and it does smells good. Please remind me not to take deeeeeeeppp breath next time at fragrance launch when I’m having migrain k? Maybe I took too much of a sniff at the bow band on my wrist, I started to get dizzy LOL!! I knew immediately it wasn’t the perfume. So, the big question is. Does it smell good? I’ll tell you what I think…BELOW 😛

Alright. The packaging, bottle etc review. What I like about the box packaging is that I get a cardboard outer box sleeve, a plastic wrapper, the box and inner box which is slightly corrugated to protect and to let the bottle sit securely inside. Very secure considering the bottle is made from glass and heavy!

The bottle. Absolute gorgeous. The bottle is a square 2-tone color with Jeanne LANVIN grosgrain fabric label on the middle while decorated with a deep purple ribbon box on the neck of the bottle, created by Artistic Director Alber Elbaz Lanvin. The bottle fits perfectly on the palm of my hand. Heavy but steadily. I always remind myself not to drop it lol! I’m clumsy at times so I’d normally sit on my bed while handling this gorgeous.

Body - Body / Shower Scrub L'Occitane Review: Bath / Body

Review: Just Twist, Squeeze & Scrub with L’Occitane Almond Shower Scrub

Somewhere end of June 2012 L’Occitane Malaysia releases a few new products into their Almond range and I hauled some products back as you can read in this post. That haul include two tubes of the Limited Edition Almond Shower Scrub.

Ahhhh…the “Limited Edition” phrase never fail to get me. I wasn’t in the need to get a new body scrub and RM84 is not cheap but after sniffing the scent and trying out the texture at the store let’s just say I was sold. The only thing that make me think for 1 second 5 second is the watery texture. I prefer my body scrub to be thick and exfoliating, not watery like a shower gel.

Beauty Salon Body - Salon Body Treatment Clarins Review: Bath / Body

Beautiful Body with the New Clarins Tri-Active Body Treatment

Rediscover the happiness that comes from taking care of your body. It is a treat to have an absolute well-being. Escape to a place where you can relax and recharge your body and mind. Wake up your five senses and feel good. A treatment at Clarins Skin Spa not only offers you the chance to lie back and enjoy a completely luxurious experience, it also delivers exactly what it promises and much more.

Looked familiar? I’m back to Clarins Skin Spa Pavilion for another experience and this time I’m invited to try Clarins’ New Tri-Active Body Treatment.

The treatment was suppose to take place last month but my menstrual went haywire and let’s just say I wasn’t in the right condition to proceed on my appointment day. Add in the busy schedule lately thus the delay for the treatment. Sok Hung who’s my Beautician previously (read here for facial review) has been following up closely with me to make sure I had the booking according to my preferred day and time. She also happened to be my Beautician this time round and I was happy with the arrangement. Let me just tell you Sok Hung is very friendly, funny and her skills is marvelous.

Body - Fragrance Dior Review: Bath / Body

Review: Dior Addict Eau Fraîche Relaunched

Dior recently repackaged and relaunched their iconic fragrance; the Dior Addict family namely Dior Addict Eau de Parfum, Dior Addict Eau Fraîche and Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle. The one I have and going to review is Dior Addict Eau Fraîche which comes in a pink bottle.

Dior Addict Eau Fraîche is a floral fruity fragrance which is portrayed as a fresh, elegant, bright, woody scent. Top notes are bergamot and grapefruit, Middle notes are lotus, freesia and pomegranate and Base notes are musk and woodsy notes. When I first read about the scent description I was a bit skeptical as I’m not really into fruity scent. But that was quickly changed when I saw the ingredient list. It’s mainly consist of floral, not much on fruity. Good news for me 🙂

Let’s talk about the bottle. I believe a lot of us collect perfume and the first thing that caught my attention is definitely the bottle. I like the simplicity of the bottle design and love the fading pink glass bottle. It’s a user friendly perfume and I’ll tell you why below. I have to be extra careful when handling this perfume. It’s heavy, made from glass and I wouldn’t wanna drop my current favorite perfume to the floor!

BEAUBELLE Body - Hand Cream Review: Bath / Body

Review: Is Beaubelle Velvet Veil Mani-Pedi Satin Cream SPF30 Just Another Hand Cream?

Sorry for the lengthy title LOL. The product name itself is so long! Beaubelle Velvet Veil Mani-Pedi Satin Cream SPF30 (see! what a mouthful) was given to me as one of the door gift at Fabulous Finds launch. It took me this long to use it as I don’t normally use a product before the picture is taken. Typical blogger I know 🙂

Many of you might not heard about Beaubelle right? Beaubelle is the pioneer in providing holistic rejuvenation through health-giving, pampering and solution-oriented products and services for the harmony of body, mind and soul. Sometimes when you walk around shopping complexes especially Starhill and Ikano you’d see Beaubelle signboard at the health or spa floor level.

Alright. Back to the hand cream or shall we say Velvet Veil, the packaging is rather ordinary despite the hefty price tag on most of their product. I have no idea how much this hand cream cost seriously but might not be as expensive as their skin care? I’ll update you the price when I got them aight!
